Minor Spoilers

I dare anyone to re-read the Occlumency chapter in HP: OotP (more precisely the conversation he and Harry first have about it) and try to convince me that Snape is working for the Dark Lord.

I dare you.

You tell 'em. You tell 'em and you don't stop telling 'em until they listen.

*I* agree with you...and this isn't even one of my "Special Hours in the Day to Be Delusional About Snape" (tm)

Are you referring to this?
"The Dark Lord, for instance, almost always knows when somebody is lying to him. Only those skilled at Occlumency are able to shut down those feelings and memories that contradict the lie, and so utter falsehoods in his presence without detection."
[American Edition, paper back, page 531]

I then wonder why so many Death Eaters are skilled at Occlumency. At least Snape said that Bellatrix herself taught Draco thus subject in the "after-the-Slughorn-party"-chapter in HBP. O.o
