PS - It irks me beyond the grave to know my name will forever occupy a space beside your father's name.  At least I have the immense satisfaction of knowing it is placed before it.

Thanks! I think finally I like the idea of a Snape portrait. JK hinted that while we don't see it in the book ...

J.K. Rowling: It was deliberate. Snape had effectively abandoned his post before dying, so he had not merited inclusion in these august circles.
J.K. Rowling: However, I like to think that Harry would be instrumental in ensuring that Snape’s portrait would appear there in due course.

I like the idea. I might write about this. *nods*
