My boyfriend would like me to draw him something. Highly detailed, something that might take me a month to complete. I requested he ask for something Harry Potter-ish because ... you know. So he just leered at me. And I felt this impending doom crawl down my spine as some unspeakable evil began to form on his lips:

"Snape and Hermione."

My boyfriend is a SS/HG shipper at heart. And I feel both grief and a slight hope that at least he is not turned off by HP fandom. I know this his idea of punishing me for subjecting him to art after art and fic after fic of gay HP pr0n.

Still, love must conquer all, and if I must thrust my digital pen onto the tablet and draw some god-awful SS/HG for him, I will do so.

(On a more serious note (hah!), I am not turned off by the idea. I don't mind Snape/Anyone as long as it's believable, and I have a few ideas already brewing. WIP will be posted here to get some valuable criticism, because I really want to do this for him. I doubt, however, that it will be R or higher-rated.)

Snape/Hermione is like a teething ring of slash. Over 483758345 slashers came to the fandom after first reading SS/HG.

When I came into this fandom (via slash, of course), I decided that Snape/Hermione was my het pairing of choice...and damned if half the authors I sent feedback to didn't turn out to have been slashers (from other fandoms) writing het under cloak of darkness with brand new pseuds. *g*

Seriously? I would love to. But since I'm working two jobs these days, it's hard for me to find the time to do commissions unless I have lots of leeway to do them.

My details are the same as they always have been. They're free, I do them for fun and passion. And seriously, I don't have the talent to charge a fee. (I'm not being humble). I don't have a sense of perspective, can't draw landscapes or rooms, and body positioning takes me about a day to work out. Basically I'm good at faces, and that's about it. :/

Ah, yes, my husband did something similar to me *headdesk*

He wanted any het pairing with Hermione in it... Now, Rose has an Arthur/Hermione WIP looming on the edge of her consciousness whenever she sits down to write... I'm NOT going to finish that thing!!!

G'wan, make him happy. You'll make a huge number of other people happy too, me included! I'm actually more inclined to Snape/Hermione after HBP, thinking that Hermione would be the first one to put all the pieces together.

I'm a SS/Anyone shipper as well, though I tend more towards Slash mainly because I've seen far fewer examples of "Mary-Sue-itis under cover of a Cannon-character's name" in Slash than I have in Het. There are some fantastic Het stories out there... it's just harder to find them IMHO.

Looking forward to seeing the massively detailed picture! :)

I've always been a Snanyone shipper. I have an OTC not an OTP, OT3 or OTN. Slash, het, it's all porn and therefore it's all good. :)

I'm also a Snape/anyone shipper! And the first fics I read in HP fandom was Snape/Hermione. Then I graduated to Snarry. :D
