What sucks, according to me

You know what sucks?
1. A computer that doesn't work;
2. A workplace that monitors your computer;
3. A laptop that doesn't have internet;
4. A move into a new appartment that doesn't have internet capability;
5. Friends who don't have internet;
6. A life without internet.
Thank you.
(I'm still here)
I don't write, I don't draw, I'm slowly going insane, but I'm still around and I miss the INTERNET SO VERY, VERY MUCH.
Then again, our appartment is bigger and has many rooms. Yay!

Date: 2004-11-15 10:51 pm (UTC)I also cannot ever sign on to anything 'interesting' while at work, for same reason. Doesn't matter if it were on my lunchtime or break. I'd get sacked. Sad, prejudiced world we live in, 'eh?
And my son had an absolutely amazing apartment for 2 years, whose energy supply was so poor---heck, no internet was only part of it--- He couldn't even have a decent microwave oven, just a medium size one, and had to turn off Everything in the apartment to use that. Made it Rough to cook at night. Candles are good. On the up side, it was huge, quite beautiful, and cheap; the upstairs of an amazing old house, with a lovely greenbelt of trees and a valley around it, yet still on the edge of town. He finally had to come back home when the owners' daughter came back home on short notice, and is now about ready to be moving back out to a modern place of his own, with lots less character or space, but loads more modern options.
I can't imagine being on the down side ao ALL of those at once, though.
Hope things change for the better for you, sooner than later!
Uh, hm...Do you have any gaming arcades there?
The ones here rent out computer time by the hour at a reasonable rate, and don't care what sites you sign on to.

Date: 2004-11-23 03:40 am (UTC)Sorry to hear about the suckiness of internet-less existence and the workplace issues. I can relate to the latter - drives me spare. Maybe you can fill the void by decorating the appartment!! I've always thought that would be mad fun :)
