So I didn't get a chance to see Star Trek.  Or rather, I saw the first part.  The second part was spent in the bathroom, trying not have a heart attack.  Good timing that my panic attack decided to have, I began to feel the effects of anxiety just as the crew was completely assembled (minue Scottie, which irked me).  My husband patiently and wonderfully understood and we escaped the din of the movie theatre and went for ice cream instead.

<3 husband.

So I will wait until this comes out on DVD.  But from the first part, I can honestly say it was good.

It did make me laugh aloud that Kirk DID, in fact, do a green chick.

Sounds sorts of sensible from the POV of physiology: if your heart suddenly starts beating like no next Thursday then it's a reasonable assumption on the part of your brain that there's something scary around, so just in case: panic, everybody.

It sounds like things that would normally (okay, dicey word, I know) just make you uncomfortable can start the "oh, something to panic about!" circle.

Oh. I thought that one was a given with lj-bloggers who write HP fanfic. Snupin fanfic? Me? No idea what you're talking about. Sorry. Shall try to recalibrate my world view forthwith.
